The Cardiology Research Trust was set up in 1993 by a group of cardiologists and others to support the practice of cardiology in Canterbury. One of the major objectives of the trust is to support clinical research into all aspects of heart disease and the training of cardiologists. To this end the trustees, in partnership with the Canterbury Research Foundation, are offering a cardiology fellowship to support clinical research in this specialty.
The Fellowship is valued at $110,00 per year for full time (and pro-rata for part time) and provides a maximum of $90,000 for salary support, and an annual contribution of up to $20,000 towards working expenses for the project. There are no overhead costs associated with this Fellowship.
